The Chem-E Car team builds a small unmanned car that must be powered and stopped by chemical mechanisms. The team competes the car in the AIChE regional Chem-E-Car competition annually. The team meets in the BIC at various times.

Rose-Hulman American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Competition Club aims to be the overarching parent organization for the Concrete Canoe Club and the Steel Bridge Club in combination with any other ASCE competitions that participate in the annual symposium for the ASCE Cecil T. Lobo Student Chapter. The organization shall be to provide an environment to facilitate the learning and application of principles of Civil Engineering such as concrete design and construction, steel design and construction, application of sustainability, application of project management, and an emphasis on team cooperation.

Student teams will design, fabricate, and demonstrate the flight capabilities of an unmanned, electric powered, radio controlled aircraft which can best meet the specified mission profile for the AIAA competition. The club will simultaneously nurture an appreciate for aerospace and provide opportunities for personal growth for its members.

Our mission is to help local students from Vigo County to develop well-rounded discipline, not only in the engineering of robots, but also in business and marketing, which furthers their education in STEM-related fields and fosters real-world experience.

Design, build, and test a prototype a small open-wheeled Formula-style race car each year, from scratch, under the constraints of competition rules, safety, budget, and time. Students will learn how to take a design from constraints, and fabricate their design to apply to the car.

The Rose-Hulman MakerLab is a location in the Branam Innovation Center that is free to use for student personal projects. We offer tools ranging from 3D printers to laser cutters all for the purpose of encouraging Rose-Hulman students to build, create, and test their own creations.

- Have registered for and attended our Intro to MakerLab training.

The purpose of this team is to provide a competitive robotics experience to those who are familiar with or interested in the VEX, FIRST Robotics, or FIRST Technology competitions. The goal of this team is to offer engineering, electrical design, and software development challenges within a small-scale agile-development environment to Rose-Hulman students interested in robotics. This team is unique because of its agile development cycle as well as its small team environment. Some of the most successful VEXU teams compete with only 8-12 members, and this smaller format ensures that everyone who wants to contribute can contribute without crowding out others.

The Rose-Hulman VEXU team will grant its members unique opportunities to work on small groups to adapt new technologies to the team's robots. The VEXU competition offers fairly limitless possibilities with electronics and part fabrication, as well as a changing competition each year. This gives our members an abundance of opportunities to develop custom sensors, object recognition and tracking algorithms with cameras, complex position tracking algorithms, fully-custom components, and more! The team encourages any member who wants to experiment with a new technology to take the idea and run with it to further their knowledge and open the team's eyes to new possibilities.

Team Rose Motorsports' (TRM) purpose is to provide an organized group of assets in the form of experience, tools, knowledge, facilities, and events, whereby members can apply engineering skills learned in the classroom to develop and expand their passion for motorsports. By working on and driving team-owned project cars in sanctioned competitions in the surrounding area, members can build their knowledge of automobiles and high-performance driving, which can be applied to their careers in the future.
