Rose Drama Club: Little Shop of Horrors

A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre-goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.

The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!

Fall Family Weekend: 2025 Pumpkin Patch hosted by Greek Life

BSB lawn will be transformed into your very own pumpkin patch! Come and enjoy an afternoon of funnel fries, apple cider and pumpkin decorating (both carving supplies and paints will be provided). Students will judge any pumpkins that want to enter a judging contest at 3:45 p.m. sharp -- all pumpkins should line the sidewalk for judging. Prizes will be given for four categories: the scariest, funniest, most creative, and an honorable mention.

Fall Family Weekend: 2025 Oktoberfest

Rose-Hulman’s 3rd annual Oktoberfest is coming back to BSB Lawn! Bring your family and enjoy the evening as you listen to live music, German style foods, and our own uniquely brewed, Rose-Hulman themed, Vienna Lager from Terre Haute Brewing Company! There will be yard games, t-shirts, and a unique glass as well. T-shirts, glasses, and lager will be on a first-come basis for students (sponsored by RHA and SGA funds). Parents can pre-order to ensure sizing and availability OR purchase at the gate (but can not guarantee sizing or availability if paying at the gate).

Pre-orders close 10/23/25 at 11:55 PM.
Each pre-order will include a t-shirt of your size, a mug, and a lager ticket.
Students can pick up the pre-order next week to help avoid lines the day of the event. An email will go out to all registrants when the orders are ready for pick up in the Student Affairs office. Otherwise, there will be a pre-order table you can pick them up from at the event.

Oakley Observatory
Oakley Observatory Open House


​​Public open house at the Oakley Observatory. If the weather is clear, then the telescopes will be set up to view a variety of astronomical objects in the night sky. Appropriate for all ages. Limited parking is available at the Observatory/Lynn Reeder Lab. Additional parking is available at the commuter parking lot. Telescope access requires walking up and down two flights of open-air stairs. If weather isn't ideal, the "rain date" will be Saturday.
