BIC Shop Safety_REFRESH

This is a one hour training session on basic shop safety presented by Tom Rogge.
This class is for students who have previously had BIC Machine Shop access (meaning has completed “BIC Shop Safety” and/or “Intro to Shop Practices” and/or “Bench,” “Lathe,” or “Mill” training),  This is a required refresher class for the 2023-2024 year.  Upon completion of this class, Machine Shop access will be reinstated.  If you do not attend one of these sessions, you will not be granted access to the Machine Shop.

There may be MULTIPLE sessions available:  Sign up for just one – one hour session.

Wear shop appropriate clothes (pants, closed shoes and hair tied back) and bring paper/pen to take notes. Completing this class is a necessary requirement to regain access to the machine shop.

Prerequisites:  Previous completion of “BIC Shop Safety” and/or “Intro to Shop Practices” and/or “Bench,” “Lathe,” or “Mill” Training Classes.
